50: 2010 Passager Poetry Contest

Soft cover | 72 pages
My sophomore year in college, I took a handful of poems to an admired professor and in fear and trembling asked him to tell me whether he thought I had any hope of becoming a poet. He read them over and said, ‘No, my dear, I think you should just get married and have a family.’ I didn’t know that I should never have asked anyone what to do with my life.
