Internships are open to anyone, but especially undergraduate and graduate students. While we accept students in any major, an interest in literature, creative writing, or journalism is helpful.Â
Possible Internship Duties:
- Read and catalog Passager-published poems, stories, and essays by subject and theme. This database is used to select material for Passager’s weekly podcast
- Interview Passager writers for audio, video, and print interviews
- Write newspaper and magazine articles that promote Passager, its publications, and its writers
- Assist in writing and producing Burning Bright, Passager’s weekly podcast
- Prepare content for social media
- Other special projects as they arise
Passager is based in Baltimore, MD, but fully remote internships are possible. Positions are available year-round.
Application deadlines:
- November 15 for Winterim and Spring internships
- March 15 for Summer internships
- April 15 for Fall internships
Passager will tailor your workload and schedule to your college or university’s internship requirements and will work with your program’s intern coordinator as needed.
